It all begins in the forest – and it keeps starting over. Södra Skog works to purchase renewable forest raw materials from our 52,000 members and deliver them to Södras various industries. We work closely with members in their forestry, sharing their challenges and helping them create both increased climate benefits and higher profitability. Our work also includes the development of digital support and new forestry services.

Do you have forestry expertise and enjoy creating and maintaining good relationships? We are currently looking for two Advisors for Bohus-Dal.

This is what you will work on at Södra

Part of Södra's mission is to create a market for members' timber raw materials at market prices and to offer competent advice and services. As an Advisor, you are the member's most important contact. With knowledge and commitment, you work together with the member to create a profitable, long-term, and sustainable forestry.

In your role as an Advisor, you own the dialogue with Södra's members and are responsible, together with the member team, for ensuring a seamless member experience. Here, your expertise through advice related to forestry and forest management becomes an important part of the relationships you create with both existing and new members within Södra. Tasks such as purchasing raw materials, outreach activities, and sales of services are also included in the assignment. You will be part of a member team that, in addition to the advisory role, consists of advisory coordinators, production leaders, forest management leaders, and transport leaders, as well as close collaboration with other specialist roles within Södra Skog. The positions are full-time, based in Bohus-Dal. Remote work can occur to some extent.

You are structured, driven, and have the ability to work independently. As forestry becomes increasingly digital, it is important that you are comfortable and curious about new technology and how digital development can assist you in the dialogue with the member. Additionally, you enjoy having an active job where you can move a lot in the terrain.

To succeed in the role of advisor, you need to have forestry expertise that you have acquired through forestry university education or equivalent work experience. You have a genuine interest in forestry that drives you to work with these issues daily. You work proactively and see details while not losing sight of the big picture.

We also see that you have:

- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing - B driver's license

This is what it's like to work at Södra

At Södra, you have the opportunity to develop at work while contributing to sustainable forestry that creates value for people and the environment. Be part of building a sustainable society

Södra is one of the country's largest forestry companies and is jointly owned by more than 50,000 family-owned forests in southern Sweden. In addition to developing forestry, we strive to always use forest raw materials in the most efficient and climate-smart way. Pulp, timber, textile pulp, and bioproducts are just a few examples. By working together, we have the strength, commitment, and courage needed to build a sustainable society. This is done with our feet on the ground, our ears to the world, and our eyes looking forward.
